I love this books but not as much as the first one. There is a noticeable tone shift and an increase in language which that kind if seems unecessary. I am also not sold on any of the new characters even Jude, and especially Cole.

The amount I am loving this series is like (___________________________) this big! (metaphorically) though I think the cussing was quite a change from the first one which was rather clean. It doesn't affect me too much.

This is my second time reading this and I think that I should have waited until an older age so that I could understand all of the connotations and the actual purpose of the book. Also, Hawthorne is really wordy so it takes some time to get into.

I am in a production of Steel Magnolias playing Ouiser, which is great because I love theatre and this is a huge show but I have no time to do anything but theatre and school. Which means that the Darkest Minds and the Diviners have to be put on hold until the weekends. Needless to say, weekend are going to be crucial.
