This book is not really what I expected? 1) Why is Richard so thirsty for vampire puss, and 2) Where the fuck is he getting freshly baked goods months into the vampire apocalypse

Ok I realise I have a whole pile of books on my "currently reading" shelf (AGAIN) but I keep getting bored. This book might just save me from my reading slump though!

At this point I'm thinking, 'Is it REALLY worth it to put humans in space?'. Why not... use that money, effort, scientists, etc to make life on Earth better? Very cliché, I know, but I guess I'm not feeling very pro-space after reading about all the tortured animals and the crazy things astronauts have to go through

The stuff about animals in this book is super depressing. Sooooo many animals subjected to gruesome tests and horrific deaths
