This is second book in the trilogy. I was astonished by the cliffhanger in the previous book and I'm looking forward to read the next chapter of this story. There are all the elements of a good spy story.

This a compelling reading, with so many historical details and episodes. The things that leaves me confused, are these parts, only a couple pages, where happens bla, bla, bla, ... finishing with bla, bla, bla ....for discover that is all a dream. It's annoying.

We are so close to the spring, in the past days temperature was high enough and yet, we have had snow in Turin for almost the whole day (few centemeters, but still a little out of season). The weather is undoubtedly crazy!

Wow, this woman is incredible! Many of her "geek stuff" remember me some period of my life as teenager.

Funny story, even though in some cases I have some problems to understand dialogues, where there are references to people or facts I don't know.

Finished the first novel, touching and sad.

The story becomes more complicated and apparently follows some different
plots. But only apparently...

In this story I see a Marlowe more human and self reflexive, but less ironic than usual.

Gangsters with strange names, actress, femmes fatales. In this new adventure there are so much work for Marlowe. Fortunately, till now, no one shots him.

There is a lot of suspense in this story, a great hunt and unfortunately, the things not always end well.
