A mere 166 pages read durig a 12 -day holiday... which included 2 10-hour plane rides. I should be ashamed...
On the other hand, the guide did promise to make sure we will only be able to fall into bed exhausted, by the end of the day.

TL;DR the book's not particularly entertaining to make me keep reading it while dog tired.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm sorry to have to tell you that your plane has crashed!" The entire waiting room is dead silent. Then the announcement continued: "We're restarting it, you can picture this process similarly to your Windows computer at home."

At first things were just shocking. Then they became kind of sad. And now it's outright depressing... I wonder if that's why I felt so sad and stressed all day yesterday.

There's nothing quite like reading about North Koreans to make you feel like a privileged white person. I'm now torn between feeling horrified for North Koreans, and feeling guilty for having had an easy life.

Although the chapter about the Kanto region was rather interesting... it's still taking me a ridiculous amount of time to wade through 400 pages.

CUSTOMER: I’ve been looking through your geography section – I can’t find any books on Atlantis.
BOOKSELLER: You know, I think we managed to lose those.

Lost attention-span... gained another book on the currently reading list. :P

I wish I knew what You were up to. But whatever it is, help me to get through it, please. Though maybe it's not Your doing; I don't believe for an instant that what's going on out there is what You meant.
I have enough daily bread, so I won't waste time on that. It isn't the main problem. The problem is getting it down without choking on it.
