You know things are hopeless, when you find your favorite author's book "painfully boring"...

This is getting more frustrating by the minute. Everyone's going around in circles, talking as pompously (not to mention vaguely) as 19th century English would allow. Furthermore, to ensure the absolute MAXIMUM confusing, they also keep confirming with each other that knew what it all meant.

AAAARGH!

There's nothing awful about this... but the author's regency/Victorian writing style just doesn't work for me...

It's been a while since I've been this bored from the get go. Why is it, that it's always the books with high praise from professional critics, that do that to me?!

I'm tempted to shelve this as a guilty pleasure, seeing as how it evokes equal amounts of disgust, fascination and excitement in me.
For all that many may consider it a highly commercial work, it feels like it could actually become my first 5-star book of this year.

Just... wow. This is so much more terrifying - and yet at the same time highly addictive - than I thought.

2013: the year you can get away with no username and passwords such as "Clara" on a company's public effing website...

... *sigh* I was initially going to hurl, but you just HAD to mention the strudel, so now I'm content to ROLFMAO instead.

What is your response to 'are you in danger at this very moment?' According to Eckhart Tolle, the answer is most probably no.
I still jumped up to check two unopened bills... thereby managing to lock myself out of my online payment account. Ah, the irony!

That said, I'm quite liking the book and its general message.

As with all books that I'm reading because I HAVE TO, I'm now finding myself incredibly sleepy...
Also, someone forgot to proofread this book.: there are at least 5 missing words/letters in the first 30 pages alone!
