Adding this here so I remember to include it in my final review: This book is reminding me A LOT of Yurugu by Marimba Ani in the sense that if the critiques in Yurugu were applied to the work and thoughts presented here by Alan Watts…then wow. This book is GREAT so far and it makes it even more apparent when the school of thought that is very specifically euro-centric shines through in “universal” statements.
