ish, I agree with Becky, the "trapped in a ski lodge during a blizzard with a murderer" chapter is probably the funniest chapter in SxF yet, especially loved the character names, just wish the author had drug it out a bit more because I was enjoying the setup so much, though it was very funny (and logical) the anticlimactic way the "mystery" got resolved

Oops, couple mistakes in this chapter, first he had a section set in Britannia and the start of the section said Horn of Africa, then he had another section claiming to be set in the Horn of Africa, but actually at the Cape of Good Hope (or Cape of Storms). It's a easy enough mistake: South end of South America is Cape Horn, EAST end of Africa is the Horn of Africa.

Would someone be good enough to stab Lady Macbeth? It's really for the best for everyone.

It's rather funny how annoyed I get every time the author accidentally writes canon instead of cannon

I AM going to finish Shadows Against the Empire, I've been loving it, I've even bought my own copies of both it and its sequel; just... once I started this series, it's one of those cases where each book dovetails into the next one, so once you start... you just want to keep reading.
