It’s interesting seeing Faraday from an outsiders perspective because we know so much about him and Loriana just sees him as another Scythe. Possuelo isn’t telling the other scythes about Citra and Rowan.

They found them!!! And was that one of the people who built the thunderhead talking to an early version of it? An early version who didn’t care about humanity?

I don’t want a romance between Munira and Faraday. How are more people on the island going to help them find whatever it is they’re looking for? Goddard told someone to kill herself. Completely normal behaviour.

It’s cool that while the Nimbus agents may be unemployed, they still have a task from the thunderhead. How will the thunderhead feel about what they find is the real question though.

I think I like Jeri. They know what they want and how to get it.

Goddard is very Trump-like. How are Faraday and Munira going to get off the island?

I don’t know if I like Jerico. They seem arrogant, but they’re smart so I’ll give them more time before I make a decision about them.

I don’t like Rand, but I do feel bad for her here. I’m a bit worried about the thunderhead. Is it willing to sacrifice taking care of humanity in order to gain more knowledge?

There’s definitely something going on. I feel like the scythdom and the thunderhead used to have contact with each other, which is why their histories are so untwined and they’re missing the same information, but for some reason that was banned.

So much politics! The problems in this book wouldn't be resolved by the characters having a conversation with each other, which is nice. That tour guide didn't seem to know anything about the founding Scythes, which is kind of concerning. Plus, a lot of important information has conveniently been "forgotten" over time. I have a feeling that we'll get some answers once they reach the land of Nod.

I feel really bad for Greyson. He lost a trusted friend/parental figure and wont be able to be in contact with it for at least another few months. I really like how this book is really showing that Anastasia, Curie, and Faraday are becoming a sort of family. I hope Rowan can be a part of that as well. The thunderhead just keeps getting more and more interesting. It's theory that it's god might actually be true.

Why isn’t there a note from the thunderhead? are those over for now?

This is going to be hell for Rowan. He’ll figure something out though. He’s smart.

Do the other regions have politics like this region? Are there scythes that floor goddards way of thinking on other continents?

Goddard better not end up as High Blade, although I think he will.

The politics of the scythedom are so interesting. Curie is going to have to become High Scythe to avoid a new order Scythe taking the position.

The tonists seem to disagree with each other on everything. I wonder how many of them only joined for the security away from scythes.

This plot is really interesting. We get to learn about the original scythes as well as history for the world.

Well that’s a lot. A complete head transplant! And now Goddards back! Things aren’t going well for Rowan at all.

How is that possible??? Is Goddards mind in Tygers body? Is that even possible? The thunderhead couldn’t have helped at all so who did that?

I really hope there’s no love triangle. I don’t like those at all.

I’m a bit confused as to who’s on whose side. Is Constantine trying to kill Citra and Curie or not? It is interesting to se when Citra refers to herself as Anastasia and when she doesn’t.

That was a lot. I knew I couldn’t trust Tyger, but I don’t know what Rand has planned for him. The thunderhead is getting more and more philosophical. Is it God? Can it travel through time? Does it want to be god?
