I am having a hard time reading this book, only because the subject matter is so horrifying, and it's well written, and that combination is very anxiety-inducing.

This book is incredibly difficult to read. It's beautifully written, but the subject matter is hard. I'm glad I'm reading it though

This book is making me edgy. It's really good, but really uncomfortable.

I wasn't sure what I was expecting going into this book, but it gets weirder and weirder. I'll finish it, because I'm already over half way through. But it's weird.

I didn't think I was going to like this one, because I didn't care for her so much in the other books, but I LOVE both of the characters in this book so far. So much sass!

I wasn't sure about the tone of this when I started, but now I can't seem to put it down.

Hell just made a Mel Brooks reference. I am so pleased.

Dislike Winterborn too. I really like West though. So maybe I'll skip the second book, read the third and forth?

Hokay. So. I like the world. I like all of the female character. I LOVE West. But I CAN. NOT. STAND. Devon. He is a giant asshole. Also, his and Kathleens relationship seems entirely based on lust and guilt, and nothing else. Will finish, but only for everyone else. Not the couple. Who are dumb.

It seems very unreasonable that the general of an army, no matter how small, would put so much weight in one woman's thoughts for her son, unless he was dating this woman. Which he appears not to be. I'm skeptical. Maybe he's banging the mom?

I am somehow less excited now that I know there are weird mummy spirits behind everything, but the writing is good, so I'll finish it.

I can not get enough of this book. The pacing is perfect!

I'm getting a little bored with it, but I only have 200 pages to go, so i feel like I HAVE to finish it now.

This is one of the weirder books I've read.

I love this book! I need to buy a copy! It makes me want to clean.

Listening to the audibook. So engaging! But so long. I'm only on disc 8. There are 33 discs. I'm gonna have to return it to the library long before I'm ready.

I am really liking this book! I just wish I had more time to read it.

Rather loving this. He seems like a standup guy.

This book is kind of sad. Really interesting, well written, but sad. And it makes me hate Hugh Hefner. I need to do more research about him.

This book is surprisingly engaging.
