The witches are finally getting interesting and things are all starting to tie together. To say I’m obsessed would be an understatement.

I’m going to have the hardest time getting into this I fear. Should have read this first or last… but I just know this Sam storyline is going to end me.

This is such a Deja vu read for me. I read this 8 years ago and yet I can still remember vivid details about the story and then at the same time nothing at all.

Constantly at war with myself over wanting to sit and binge this series and not to start it quite yet so I can hammer through other books on my tbr.

100 pages in and I can say that one half of myself has lost the war. I’m in for the long haul. Let’s go.

Feeling like the prose is just a little ambitious for me BUT I am falling head over heels with this main character. Hoping for a little more historical background as I go.
