Tror jag läst denna förut?!

Has some great content but I was expecting a continuation of the first book in the duet. This one hasn’t reached the intersection with book one yet. No interaction between characters but minimal crossover with the subplot of book one and a few insights but I can’t help but to feel disappointed and snubbed.

This is most definitely Lili Valente who’s narrating under the name of “Amanda Watson”.

Så slowburn det blir jobbigt. Uppläsarna nästan skriker och när ”hon” försöker sig på skottska låter det ännu värre

🎧 don’t know if I can continue listening. I can’t stand the horrible female narrator. Her Scottish accent is total gibberish, doesn’t even come off as comedic.

Supposed to be a standalone BUT the amount of info-dumping is staggering and since this is my first book in this authors mob-world I felt run over and left behind most of the time. I’m putting it to the side till I’ve read the first books -if I do, that is.

Time for book 3. Had to skim book 1-2 first so now I’m up to date and on to the final one.

This just gets better and better. Ok so my sense of humour might be quite dark. And I do enjoy a hot AF and OTT story that manages to keep me engaged and curious while snort-laughing and on the edge of heaving a few times. But my lord this is book-crack to someone like me. I’m so in love with this authors mind it’s crazy.

A few hours in and I’m loving the charmingly worded inner monologues of the MCs. Especially the MMCs who’s perfectly narrated by Jacob Morgan. I didn’t expect it to be this much fun and bantery.

Seriously funny and smart with a flare for self deprecating reflections. Doesn’t match the blurb yet so I’m curious as hell to find out how this will pan out.

This book!! I’m so in love!! And it’s such a hardship to decide. On one hand, I want to devour it and never stop (and since it’s in audio, I can keep listening, whatever I do). And on the other, I want to ration it, and make it lasts as long as absolutely possible.
