I’m so in love with this book and within 3 pages I’ve found a new member of my very own Book Character Hall of Fame: Dr. Jackie Darling Lee. The Über-Nerdette genius babe with her Buddy Holly glasses, 60’s ponytail, beloved T-shirt collection, All Star Chuck’s and stash of raunchy Cowboy books. She is such a star!! Gimme more!!

Too much info in too short a time in chapter 2. Sorry, but it is actual information diareea - Holden starts his run with thoughts of his dead wife and tragic past and soon segways into hot and horny thoughts about a random cute barista. Can’t keep it all in my head.

Can’t really get into it. I do like the characters and their inner monologues but it’s so very slow and detailed that it doesn’t get of the ground. Giving it a few new chapters.

I’m still interested but GAH soooo many siblings to keep up with. I need to start making notes 🙈

Just started this one for the 2:nd time. Can’t remember why I never got past the first chapters the first time, so I’m giving it a second whirl.

🇸🇪Rörig, utdragen och har för mkt på gång samtidigt. Dessutom känns den kvinnliga uppläsaren tillgjord och överdramatisk. Orkade inte mer efter nga timmar och eftersom det är första boken i en serie så kastade jag in handduken.
