Intrigued!

This book is impressively SLOW. It's short, and I'm 1/5 the way thru and nothing has happened at all that relates to the big picture idea of the book.

BUT y'all know me. If I'm still reading by page 50, it means it's oddly good. The writing is good and the character is good and the premise of the book is fun, so I'm willing to keep going!

So far I like the book but I don't love it....

Another one I can't put down. Good story. Told in multiple POVs tho, and they're not super different from each other in voice, so that is tough to keep track of.

Taking me a minute to figure out the multiple POVs as the voices sounds the same BUT I'm kinda hooked! I'm invested and happy to keep reading.

So far the narrator can best be described as "rambling" ON AND ON. Not sure how much more I can take.

In too much agony to leave my bed today, so slow reading it is!

What an odd little book so far. I don't hate it, however. Story is a little hard to follow with the weird names, but you hardcore fantasy lovers won't be phased at all by it. Curious to see where it's going....
