Finally a book has broken me OUT OF MY READING SLUMP!
This one is great so far! Hooked from page one!

Putting this one down. I hate books with detectives in them. I was hoping I'd get thru it since I loved God of the Woods but this shit is depressing. Horrible childhood, drug addiction, murder.... Not in the mood. I need some Scooby-Doo level mystery in my life. My brain can't take the HEAVY right now.

I am not a fan of police-based books. So far I'm okay with this one, but we shall see how long that lasts!

And another thing: there are people who genuinely practice witchcraft and it's not "the Devil" which is where I can see this book going. It's very Tituba in The Crucible.

So far not much has happened.
They're in a home and in a river. Literally sums it up so far. I enjoyed helis Final Girls Support Group book but have hated everything else. Was hoping to like this one. I always feel like he tries super hard to write women and gets us just off center. Like in this one he is writing about being pregnant, and idk what it is but it all feels false.

Unfortunately I will not finish this over Winter Break! I'd love to read all night, but alas, Winter Break is over 😭

It is so rare to find a book that combines the perfect amount of gore and magic and lovely characters 🤩

This book is so good... Almost halfway done...

This one I find I have to read very slowly, but so far it is delightful (in a bringing dead things back to life kind of way!)

If I wasn't so tired, I'd stay up all night reading this one. Already so good
