This book just took the stupidest turn a book has ever turned. I'm sitting here like WUT? The author was clearly grasping at straws here. Yikes.

This book is very well-written, but man, it is very SLOW. if the author cut like every other sentence it'd be so much better.

Getting to the part of the book where putting it down begins to feel inevitable....

Seems that lots of people love it, but it's definitely not for me.

Goodness gracious. This author just stream-of-consciousness-dumped all over the pages. No action. No nothing. Just dumping. Lifetime of events and thoughts onto the page? Idk if I can do this one either. This will be the 4th book of 2023 I've put down already 😧

Okay putting this one down. Literally nothing is happening. So disappointed. ✌🏽😪

Now I see why the ratings are so low. It's an endless description of where these women are walking. They're always walking. This novel could have been 100 pages long I think. I feel like she added shit in to make it "book length."

Everyone else hates this book it seems, but I like it SO FAR. I loved her first book, so I'm willing to keep going (which is saying lots since I'm quick to put down a book!)

Nope. Not interested in this one. Putting it down. I'm a picky reader, what can I say?

Really wanted to love it. It's so slow though. I'm just not a "stick-it-out" kind of reader. Time to put this one out to pasture. ✌🏽
