I'm getting Silent Hill 2 vibe.

I'm impressed, the plot is actually getting pretty complex!

It was going so well, but I'm not really vibing with the latest plot direction (it has switched genre slightly).

This last time I was in such a mind trip reading a novel might've been The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle.

This has been constantly on the verge of being convoluting, but still I’m deeply fascinated by the narrative. (People who like mystery stories involving writer protagonist will LOVE this).

I was expecting a thriller (the pivotal violence was indeed gruesome), but the story is actually reminding me of Matt Haig. Color me intrigued!

Not exactly the ending I want, but it's kind of entertaining in its ridiculousness!

Well, I knew it's gonna come to this—the mystery is really not as interesting as what it was building up to be...

Still am really enjoying this! (This is going way better than I expected)
