ok so it was better than chloe brown and def less hornee; the characters were better but the plotline was a little subpar in my opinion; not as good as everyone said it was but I was expecting that bc everyone loved Chloe brown more than me too; overall was kind of forgettable but enjoyable as a FuN weekend read

trying to get into the whole weekend romance read vibe becaue that's what I used to do over the summer :) this was a super random pick up but I was watching a youtube review and the plot line seems a lot better than chloe brown (which I really didn't like) also the characters in chloe brown were :) annoying; these characters seem a lot better so I'll give talia hibbert another try I guess; hopefully it's less hOrnee

okkk so lots of positives lots of negatives; I wish there was more dialogue because I :) don’t like being inside Dorian’s mind; obviously the writing was really good but it had extremely tedious moments that just made me want to scream MOVE ON ALREADY; wish I could do more for king Wilde but sorry bro this book just wasn’t as gas as I thought it would be :( I still <3 u tho fashion icon

I think it’s kinda funny how Dorian is supposed to be this super good looking dude but on the cover of the book he just looks like tall realistic Farquaad; of course I’m not saying Farquaad iSn’T good looking but...I’ll leave it up to interpretation

finally getting to the book that’s been on my tbr the longest only because I put a hold on everything else I wanted too late so now I have time to read books that are 2nd priority :)

I’m pretty sure I don’t want to read the next book but I also really want to see Daphne crash and burn; I still want Jefferson and Nina to be together so :)) maybe I’ll read the 3rd book JUST because of those things; book was a solid 2.5 but I’ll round up to a 3 because it wasn’t horrible / I never considered dnfing

wow ok so the entire book was cringe especially the dialogue; Nina and Daphnes POV were really annoying; I finished the book in one sitting 🙄 not because I liked it that much, it was just easy to get through; the first book was way better; why tf was everyone switching up it was so confusing and unrealistic I don’t even know who to root for anymore

WOW the climax was so good; kind of conflicted about the rating because I was leaning towards 3 for the first half and second half is 4; honestly this could’ve been a standalone but I’m still interested in the rest of the series def gonna get to it 👀 I need to gather my thoughts for a minute to figure this out holdup

again too much name dropping but the plot is easy to follow so :) good

the world building is a little intense and showy; not super difficult to keep up with because the author repeats the terms you actually need to know but also there’s so much name dropping it’s kind of annoying; hoping for more character development because the other gentleman bastards are a little dry / all have the same wiTty personality

this book is so THICC I can barely handle it; kinda wish I had the other edition bc it’s thinner and has a prettier cover :( also it’s going good so far, I’m intrigued but not invested (yet)

I wish I read Christmas Memory when it was actually Christmas :( if only I checked the table of contents when I started the first story; wanted to give this a 4 but it’s just not at that level (on average) vv unfortunate

honestly the best book I’ve read from this author so far, the middle was really good; not enough to bump it up to a 4 though (beginning and end were meh); 3.5 but since there’s no half ratings a 3

thought this would have a lot more to do with Tiffany’s :(
