I really enjoy these Gray Man books.

Picked this one up as a freebie, not as horrible as I thought. I had mistakenly thought that I had read some of this author's work, but I was wrong.

In the middle of an ugly civil war with both sides using dragons.

This is a bit more political than I would like to read, but still a very good story.

Not what I was expecting and not as horrid as I figured it would be.

This series was recommended to me and I started the first book holding my nose expecting a stinking turkey. Sex is very graphic, and lots of profanity. Surprising decent, but you have to hit the crap out of the "I Believe" button and suspend any expectation of realism. MC is interesting and different than the usual over-powered MCs you find in similar stories.

I enjoy these Jesse Stone books a lot.

I had forgotten how much I enjoy this author's writing.

So I admit to starting this book holding my nose, expecting a real stinking turkey. Started a little slow, but has gotten fairly good. Interesting twist on traditional male and female roles.

I am probably not going to purchase any more book in this series. Just not that interesting me.

I've seen a lot of complaints about this book. For a first book its fairly decent. Does pick up considerably when Skippy joins the cast. Skippy reminds me of a combination of Holly from Red Dwarf and Marvin the robot from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
