It was really damn good at first, but the second third slowed down the pacing to a grinding standstill and started too many romance plots simultaneously. Now it's almost exclusively about sex and magic sex mushrooms and its *so* boring.
Hoping it'll pick back up for the last 100 pages.

Peter is 83% done with Jhereg (Vlad Taltos, #1)

So very classic high fantasy.
Before being a completely ridiculous badass went out of style.
Before edgelords were a bad thing.
It reminds me a bit of Roger Zelazny's Nine Princes in Amber, where Corwin was also a completely unapologetic badass.

I gotta admit, I actually like this book a lot.
