The author showed us that the Emperor was nice and respected the lower class. He also trusted the lower class a lot. The Emperor just walked up to the villagers and started to shake their hands and talk to them.

I have read a little bit of this book and already someone is about to die. I think the author did that because you could see how Will reacts to that.

The author is telling the readers that Percy will take risks if he has to. Percy toke a risk to go into the Styx river that cold have killed him. Now he has to fight a titian with only demigods.

I learned that Percy isn't that fearful of death. He has to make a big decision that could save the Greek gods or destroy the Greek gods. He has a prophecy about him and it said that he might die. Percy just said that he don't care.

Nothing has happens so far besides when Percy and Annabeth fought and the Apollo and Ares cabin fought.

The author has talked about the Ophiotaurus a lot and tried to get the readers attached to him. The Ophiotaurus is a cow like serpent that sometimes looks sad. I think that the author will make Percy kill it.

I think the author might be trying to indicate that Bianca di Angelo was making it up to her brother for joining the hunters by getting him the last piece of his card game. Also I noticed that Percy always stabs giants toes.

The author had a cliff hanger at the end and has been talking a lot abut

The author is talking a lot about Greek mythology and the stories of some of the heroes. For example "nobody" was the original guy to fight a cyclops and Percy and his friends are taking advantage of that.

The author of Percy Jackson, Rick Riordan, talks a lot about how Clarissa doesn't think she can do her quest but is still going along with the quest. Even the oracle says she will fail.

I believe that Percy is on a cursed ship and is going to have to find a way to break that curse. It might also have monsters on the ship.

Right now, Percy Jackson is about to enter a chariot race. There are weird crows next to the race track. I think their going to attack Percy Jackson and the other racers.

I realized in Percy Jackson that Tantalus (a dead person from my book) has a curse so that he can't eat or drink for eternity. I found that out because the author wrote "Do you have any idea how dry one's throat gets after three thousand years".

I learned that Percy does not really know a lot about Greek mythology. I think that's because he hasn't learned from anyone.

I noticed that every one is afraid of the new kids, but not Tyson and Percy.
