I def see the lines to her present serieses. The pt I mentioned earlier which is that Singh says the thing you want to say and doesn't ignore what could become a leading criticism. Instead she makes it part of the story. If you're curious I would not suggest starting here but with in any of her Bishop -Esera fam bks. 4.5 from me.

And it's way too short for my liking. We cover something over a year in 178 pgs. I would prefer a solid 300. There's a whole lot of blurred lines given the contractual wedding and the personalities of the MCs.But it's ok enough cuz it is addressed in the book as a pt of conflict.

Give or take a few rosy moments this was a good time. It's another age gap romance. I think Gabe's gruffness becomes a lot more tolerable cuz Damon the guy she spent her whole pining for is just a pain. This is an older bk by Singh. She has definitely improved since. This book would have been 1000x better if it had a dual pov. It's mostly third person in Jess's pov but there's 1 random switch to Gabe's thoughts/mind
