The reunion got him a date.

I'm torn because this is a fast read, but it wasn't clear to me that it was a short story collection so the fact that what I thought was the second chapter repeated a bunch of exposition from the first chapter was offputting. We'll see if I come back to this.

I’m really enjoying this book.

“Assassin?” I guessed.

Bubba shook his head. “Politician.”

“Look, I’m doing my best to be accurate here, but if you know a way to transcribe a name who sounds like nails in a garbage disposal, I’d love to see it.”

this is hilarious in the most unboring way possible. the best way to add a little bit of adventure to an otherwise boring day!

This isn't really as entertaining as I thought it would be. It is actually kind of . . . boring. Humorous at times, but still. A story about an accountant, indeed.
