Status Updates From To Be or Not To Be: A Choos...

Chooseable-path adventure Shakespeare?! So excited! Found this when requesting Romeo and/or Juliet from the library. I am currently playing as Hamlet Sr. I need to choose if I want to be a ghost or not.

I don't know how to gauge my progress in this book since I'm skipping around from page to page a la Choose Your Own Adventure, so... I'mma just guestimate I'm halfway through.

Love the commentary on Ophelia's actions.

I love it that Ophelia has the option of realizing that both Hamlet and Polonius are crazy and then going on vacation, leaving them to sort things out themselves.

I don't really know how to say what my progress in this book is. It's a choosable-path adventure, so linear progress is an illusion. I had a friend back in third grade who insisted on reading Choose Your Own Adventure books from front to back like any other book. Maybe I should recommend this one to him.

Just found out, it is possible for your choices to loop you back to where you started... that's a bit annoying.

So, I've played through this book 3x already and everytime I make it end better than Shakespeare... I made Claudius explode for crying out loud!
