I'm not going to make any too specific reading plans, because I didn't achieve any of my last year's goals, so I'll just continue with the erratic hopping from book to book. The Finnish book blog community has some challenges coming up, though, so at least a couple of books about immigration and a few short stories are going to appear in your feeds. I'll try to squeeze in a few Finnish classics as well, because Finland turned 100.

Looking forward to learning about Finnish classics from your readings. I love the Nordic noir writers.
Hi, Peter! I rarely read Finnish literature, but classics have usually been great. I also have a few non-fiction books in mind, so Finnish history is going to be another theme of the year. The popularity of Nordic noir is an interesting phenomenon. I can't seem to get into it at all, but it's nice that Nordic countries and Nordic writers are being appreciated.
