Author of "Body of a Dancer" (Etruscan Press), Renée E. D’Aoust was trained on scholarship as a dancer at Pacific Northwest Ballet and later at the Martha Graham Center for Contemporary Dance. Now as a writer, she has numerous publications and awards to her credit, including a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts Journalism Institute for Dance Criticism at American Dance Festival, support from the Puffin Foundation, and grants from the Idaho Commission on the Arts. Renée liked an answer from J. Warren: What are you currently working on? The third and last(?) novel in the trilogy that follows a young boy who survives horrible sexual abuse into young manhood. The books are separate enough that readers don't have to have read the other books to enjoy whichever one they pick up, though. See J.’s answer. J.

There are a lot of people who say they are a writer because they occasionally write a page or two when the mood strikes them. While one can complete a work that way, real writing is sitting down every day and slogging it out with ideas and words. My See J.’s answer. J.
