Λένε κάποιοι πως η θάλασσα είναι απλώς ένας καθρέφτης. Τα νησιά δεν είναι παρά αντανακλάσεις των αστεριών· ο ωκεανός, ο ουρανός αντίστροφα. Γι’ αυτό και, όταν έχεις χαθεί στη θάλασσα, αρκεί να σηκώσεις τα μάτια στον ουρανό και τ’ αστέρια θα σου δείξουν τον δρόμο.
Στο τέλος, θα χρειαστεί κάποιος να στραγγίξει τον ωκεανό για ν’ ανασύρει τα πτώματα.
