Jo Hart lives in rural Australia with her children. She studied Education and taught primary school for several years. She is currently on a break from teaching to focus on her family and her writing.

Jo has short stories published in several anthologies, including 100 Stories for Queensland, Australian Literature: A Snapshot in 10 Short Stories and Literary Mix Tapes: Eighty Nine. Her stories generally fall under the genres of fantasy or thriller. She also loves writing children's stories.

Her cli-fi novella 'The Jindabyne Secret' is due for release Dec 2019.

Unless you have been living in complete media and social media blackout this past week, you will have heard about the massive climate strike action by school children taking place all over the world the past few days, as well as Greta Thunberg’s passionate speech in front of the United Nations. Climate change and climate crisis have become major talking points (with good reason).

Jo Hi Karen,
I'm really sucked into the story at the moment. I'm only a couple of chapters in so far, but being a teacher you've already tapped into one of my biggest teaching fears! It must have been terrible going through that, I think I would certainly have cracked if that happened to me. I love the layout of the book, too, you've done a beautiful and professional job of it!
