Ο Ανδρέας Μιχαηλίδης γεννήθηκε στις 7 Μαΐου 1982 στην Αθήνα. Είναι μεταφραστής, συγγραφέας και αφηγητής.

Από το 2001 μέχρι το 2008 εργάστηκε ως αρθρογράφος, δημοσιογράφος και φωτογράφος στα περιοδικά “9” και “Ε” της ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΟΤΥΠΙΑΣ, στον ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΟ ΤΥΠΟ και στο περιοδικό ΓΚΡΑΝ ΓΚΙΝΙΟΛ, ενώ το 2005 άρχισε να γράφει στο Comicdom.gr, το μεγαλύτερο ελληνικό site σχετικά με τα comics, συμμετέχοντας και στη διοργάνωση του ετήσιου φεστιβάλ COMICDOM CON ATHENS.

Από το 2007 μέχρι σήμερα έχει παράγει μεγάλο όγκο ανεξάρτητης αρθρογραφίας σε τρία blog (Easy Subjugation, Otaku Lens, Ανδρέας Μιχαηλίδης) ενώ στο τελευταίο έτρεξε για τρία χρόνια το Παραμυθόγραμμα, μια μηνιαία λίστα αφηγηματικών δρώμενων ανά την Ελλάδα.

Από το 2014 έχει ξεκινήσει συνεργασίες για τη δημιουργία comics, με καλλιτέχνες όπως η Βάλια Καπάδαη (Νέκυια) και ο Παύλος Παυλίδης (Last Flight of the Swordbreaker).

Από το 2005 μέχρι σήμερα έχει μεταφράσει και μεταφράζει βιβλία από και προς στα Αγγλικά και Γαλλικά, σε ευρεία θεματολογία, από εκλαϊκευμένη επιστήμη μέχρι ιστορική μυθοπλασία, εφηβική λογοτεχνία μυστηρίου και λαϊκά παραμύθια. Ενδεικτικά αναφέρονται Ο Ιππότης των Επτά Βασιλείων του G.R.R. Martin, Τα Χρονικά της Τσακισμένης Θάλασσας του Joe Abercrombie και η σειρά με τις Περιπέτειες του Νεαρού Σέρλοκ Χολμς του Andrew Lane.

Από το 2007 μέχρι το 2009 συμμετείχε στις θεατρικές παραστάσεις εκλαϊκευμένης επιστήμης της ομάδας SciCo, μεταξύ των οποίων “Η Επιστήμη της Αγάπης”, “Η Επιστήμη της Μυθολογίας” και “Η Επιστήμη του Περιβάλλοντος”.

Από το 2008 εκδίδει αστυνομικά διηγήματα, σε συλλογικούς τόμους όπως τα Οικοεγκλήματα, Είσοδος Κινδύνου, Ελληνικά Εγκλήματα 4, Κλέφτες κι Αστυνόμοι, εκ των οποίων δύο έχουν μεταφερθεί δραματοποιημένα στο ραδιόφωνο, στα πλαίσια της σειράς “Κλέφτες κι Αστυνόμοι στον 902”.

Το 2010 ήρθε για πρώτη φορά σε επαφή με την αναβίωση της προφορικής αφηγηματικής τέχνης, παρακολουθώντας κατόπιν για δύο χρόνια τη σχολή του Κέντρου Μελέτης και Διάδοσης Μύθων και Παραμυθιών, καθώς και για τρία χρόνια το Εργαστήρι του Έπους της Μάνιας Μαράτου.

Έκτοτε έχει διοργανώσει και συμμετάσχει σε παραστάσεις αφήγησης σε μπαρ, σε καλντερίμια, σε πλατείες και νησιά και όπως πολλά χρόνια πριν μάθει για όλα αυτά, γύρω από φωτιές σε βουνά και ακρογιαλιές.

Είναι ιδυτικό μέλος της Ελληνικής Λέσχης Συγγραφέων Αστυνομικής Λογοτεχνίας (ΕΛΣΑΛ) και της Στέγης Προφορικότητας και Παράδοσης (Στέ.Π.Πα.) “Μυθολόγιο”.
