Last month was a MONTH. I spent the first half of it traveling, and the second half trying to get through piles of important stuff while also trying to hold myself up under the leaden weight of the greyest few weeks I can remember. Charles Soule answered Thomas's question: First of all, I have to say you're one of the best writers I have had the pleasure of discovering in the past few years. My big question isn't that big actually but I am curious about it: you sometimes use italics for whole chapters? I was curious why as I also use italics in some of my writings. When I do it, it's usually so the reader will pay closer attention. Is it something like that? This is just a feel thing. I'm heavily trained in music, so the rhythm of the pages and sentences and passages is always on my mind.
