"W.T.F? I read many words, and grasped very little meaning out of any of it. Generally I love being confused by Vandermeer books. But this was a whole-nother-level of crazy.
Not for me. Yikes. What did I read?"

"... and this is where I get off the Borne train. As much as I was OK with the initial novel, and as much as I have enjoyed The Strange Bird, things seem to have gone off the rails now and Vandermeer has slipped off the Cliff of the Hermetically Enjoy" Read more of this review »

Kathryn Thanks for the friend invite, Debbie! I'm making an effort to NOT add to my TBR very much this year - I don't think it worked too well for Jan - last time I checked I had added over 20!

You're very welcome:) It's great that you seem to enjoy a lot of historical fiction, as I do. Looking forward to chatting with you about books:)"

I love historical fiction. I was just remarking the other day that almost every book on my shelves is historical fiction or involves a different culture that I'm curious about. This is what I love in books, exploration, learning.

No, not this year. I didnt want to obligate myself and feel pressed. I'm reading and writing this year. Last year was only reading.

Rashaan Hey Debbie, I saw you did the reading challenge last year and aced it! Are you going to do it this year?
