Author of fiction - mystery thriller, murder mystery, romance fiction - long experience in industry and finance in the UK and across Western Europe.
Count German & French as my foreign languages having worked in the German-speaking world and lived in France for 12 years until very recently. I'm a grad in Mechanical Engineering and German.

Married, live in Suffolk, adult kids in London, Boston & Melbourne. And now a grandfather !

Interests include politics, sport (following & playing), reading and of course writing, garden design and I have just hung up my boots from a lifetime of house rescue and renovation.
Currently enjoying a bit of Irish genealogy as I research my next book!

'Men On The Hill', 2nd June launch!

Very excited; my newest crime thriller is due out in just 2 weeks, on Friday 2nd July.
If you don't know the English Lake District or indeed if you're very familiar with that unique landscape in the north western corner of England, either way, you'll enjoy the physical backdrop to the story.
But don't be fooled! Don't expect the scenic beauty and the slow pace of life there to lull you into a (fals Read more of this blog post »
