Blech. The author DID NOT have to make Blue this utterly pathetic. He doesn’t know how to control his psychic gift and now he’s also a homeless squatter who sometimes prostitutes himself? What the ever-loving-fuck? Also, this guy, Black, FOLLOWED HIM to his squat! STALKER!!!! And even if Blue is homeless and squatting, why would the author be so callous to him and have her ‘wealthy’ character invade his space? Blue has nothing but his space and now he doesn’t even have that! What the fuck??? She’s treating “The Amazing and Marvelous Blue Billings” like he’s pathetic and need pity. I’m calling lazy writing. I’ve read ahead from here and she did this just to get them into the house as roommates. She could have done ANYTHING OTHER THAN WHAT SHE DID, to accomplish this. Like make Blue actually Amazing and Marvelous, and give him some clue as to how to be the psychic/medium he is. She should have made him want to help Black and decide to stay in the house to get a better feel for it. SHE COULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING OTHER THAN MAKE HIM A HOMELESS PROSTITUTE AND TURN THIS INTO A RAGS TO RICHES STORY! So much potential here. So much disappointment.
