"Finished Chapters 4 and 5. I finished Chapter 4 a few days ago and don't remember much of it. Chapter 5 had the Ancillary and Seivarden at the camp. Strigan came back from their hiding spot and questioned the Ancillary. After some back and forth, the Ancillary went back to sleep. The next day, the Ancillary told Seivarden to make breakfast. He refused and the Ancillary knocked him out" — 6 hours, 48 min ago

"Finished Chapter 6. Billy continued home. He stopped at the camp where he prayed for the dogs. As he was thinking of names for them, he spied a lover's mark on a log with the names Dan and Ann. That's what he named the dogs. He made it home and apologized for leaving without saying anything. His family appreciated the dogs and the gifts he bought." — Dec 25, 2025 10:55PM

“The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians: who acknowledge Jesus with their lips, walk out the door, and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.”

“we should not be overly shocked and disillusioned when our leaders are revealed as having clay feet. Nor should we be blasé and shrug. If we are to trust God as our only true hope for social order and peace, we must avoid either adulatory naïveté or bitter cynicism about human leaders.”

“If God worked through one woman to bring redemption, how is it that anyone can argue that God does not go on working through other women as well?”

“Jesus does not want to be the only perfect human being at the expense of humankind. He does not want, as the only guiltless one, to ignore a humanity that is being destroyed by its guilt; he does not want some kind of human ideal to triumph over the ruins of a wrecked humanity.”
