و سكون رطب يصـرخ فيه الإعصار..
الشارع مهجور تعضل فيه الريـح..
تتوجع أعمدة و تنوح مصابيــح..
و تظل الطفلة راعشة حتى الفـجر..
حتى يخبو الإعصـار و لا أحد يدري..
في منعطف الشارع في ركن مقــرور..
حرست ظلمة شرفة بيت مهــجور..
ظمأ ..ظمأ للنوم ولـــكن لا نوما..
ماذا تــنسى البرد .. الجوع أم الحمى..
ضمت كفيــها في جـــــزع في إعياء..
و توسدت الأرض الرطبة دون غــطاء..
و الناس قناع مصطنع اللون كذوب..
خلف وداعتهإاختبأ الحقد المشبوب..
المجتمع البشري صريع كـؤوس..
و الرحمة تبقى لفظا يقرا في القاموس..”
