| I had read several of Buehlman's previous works of horror, and enjoyed them all. He's a writer of versatility and range, so I was curious to see what he would do with a fantasy novel. I was not disappointed. Our hero/anti-hero Kinch Na Shannack is a ...more | |

| I really loved this young adult fantasy spin on the legends of King Arthur. This is a great example of a story that you think has been done to death (Arthurian legend), but then along comes Tracy Deonn, who makes it fresh and original by shifting the ...more | |
“Let us find the dam snack bar," Zoe said. "We should eat while we can."
Grover cracked a smile. "The dam snack bar?"
Zoe blinked. "Yes. What is funny?"
"Nothing," Grover said, trying to keep a straight face. "I could use some dam french fries."
Even Thalia smiled at that. "And I need to use the dam restroom."
...
I started cracking up, and Thalia and Grover joined in, while Zoe just looked at me. "I do not understand."
"I want to use the dam water fountain," Grover said.
"And..." Thalia tried to catch her breath. "I want to buy a dam t-shirt.”
