I grew up in many small towns and big cities in India and Syria thanks to my Dad who had a transferrable job. Books were my safety blanket and with no access to the information overload today, I spent a large part of my time reading and day-dreaming.
I wanted to be a journalist but got thrown out of the interview at India's premier Mass Communications Institute. So , I did the next best thing - an MBA. I worked for years, got married, brought up my children and traveled the world. And then found myself drawn to the business of writing.
My repertoire of work includes children’s books for Disney Publishing and other Indian publishers.
Am so glad we have self-publishing now - it means I can write what I please, and if no publishing house will ...more
