The wind howls,
A chorus of voices,

That the earth is lost.

The tree whispers,
Begging the wind to rustle its leaves,
Asking the sky to shed its tears,
To nurture it’s growth.
The tree whispers its losses.

The sun glares,
Silent and furious,
Scorching the earth without regard,
For the earth is lost.

The earth is grateful,
