"Nate gets in trouble again and gets a bunch of detention slips. His teacher tells him that he had received more detention slips in one day than anyone else in the history of the school. That was when he realized that his fortune cookie had come true. I can relate to this when I also got a bunch of detentions in 3rd grade at schoot like Nate. Back then, I thought I was cool. I know now that I was a fool, not cool." — Apr 29, 2021 06:15AM

"On pages 68 to 69 I wonder a lot on these pages. First on page 69 when Salva see's a women with orange hair It gets me wondering if the person he is desperate to see is actually his mother who he thinks is. I personally don't think it is his mother because his mother is probably dead because she was in the village when the teacher told him that the rebels would strike that area." — Nov 23, 2020 10:08PM
