I am equal parts overjoyed and stressed, due to this book. Damn. It was honestly everything I wanted for the final part of this story, but I was worried about EvaJacks at “You ask a lot of questions."

I am equal parts overjoyed and stressed, due to this book. Damn. It was honestly everything I wanted for the final part of this story, but I was worried about EvaJacks at the turn of every page, it was not fun in that sense 😅

Having this said, "A Curse for True Love" brings us to the conclusion of a beloved and enchanting trilogy, giving us more fairytales, more magic and, most importantly, more love. This is, above it all, a love story between two fragile and battered people, who have had to constantly fight for what they want, including each other. And I am so glad they fought right until the end!

I especial enjoyed reading Evangeline's POV in this book. Even with the loss of her memories, she hoped and fought for herself and her voice. She was brave and determined and I felt like she showed the most growth out of all characters. She is a lover at heart. She loves Jacks, she loves the friends she makes along the way in this adventure, she loves magic and fairytales and she is, finally, not apologetic for it. She took her feelings and made them her sword and shield, in this book, and I absolutely loved it! 💖

I also loved reading Jacks' POV, but for another reason entirely. His chapters are very emotionally charged, mainly because he is at a breaking point, after almost losing Evangeline. He feels hopeless and lost and tries his best to leave her side, because he stills believes that's what will be best for Eva. I'm so glad she proved him wrong! 🥹❤️‍🩹 He was still fiercely protective and ingenious, as well as teasing and cynical, which are some of his characteristics I love most, so I'm completely happy with his role in this story!

Now Apollo. And Aurora. Both... absolutely insane, infuriating and villainous to their cores (at this point, I'm starting to think they deserved each other 🫥). But both amazing antagonists in this narrative. They were well planned and very well written by the author and that is exactly why they're so hard to read. Still, I will always give love to a good villain, because they make the story progress! (Not sad to see them go though, truly)

Finally, I would like to add that, similarly to the previous two books in this series, "A Curse for True Love" is filled with some of the most beautiful writing I've had the pleasure to read. It adds a magical and enchanting atmosphere to every scene in the book and it's also very creative and unique, giving a special feel to this story. I hope the author doesn't let the Magnificent North go, because the Story Curse has finally released EvaJacks and is looking for other stories to twist...

P.S. I hope one of those stories is LaLa's, because she is amazing and I want more of her.
