A little confusing to read at first but the opening is pretty much the same as the synopsis stated, Aaron is an ass and Keeley dies (*murdered*). However, she wakes up as her 17 year old self and decides to changer her life’s course and stay far away from Aaron.
Chapter 2: Familiar Icy Voice
Keeley’s plan to stay away from Aaron doesn’t go according to plan as she ends up sitting next to him in her class. Aaron also makes an odd comment on Keeley’s doodles on her paper; stating he forgot how she liked to do that. Which is odd unless Kelley isn’t the only one who was reborn?
Chapter 3: Mind If I Sit Here?
I feel so bad for Keeley she is really trying to stay away from Aaron, but for some reason he won’t leave her alone; it must be stated they don’t know each other yet! Aaron still manages to include himself in her lunch group and tries to start a conversation but he is easily ignored which he isn’t pleased about. We learn that the old Keeley gave up her dream college NYU to go to Boston University to be with Aaron, who as we all know was a major duck about it in her previous life. Aaron seems interested in the fact that Keeley might want to go to Boston University which is close to Harvard where he will be going, but Keeley shuts him down quick and leaves. I’m totally loving the badass Keeley!
Chapter 4: This Is Kidnapping
Okay yeah the title is self efficient, the man seriously kidnapped her just to drive her home. Keeley was not pleased and can’t figure out why he is so intrigued by her since they never even spoke and she tries to avoid him at al costs.
I think there are 2 possible answers: 1) Keeley wasn’t the only one given a chance to go back in time and do things over differently, I think Aaron was as well or 2) Aaron would have inserted himself in Keeley’s life one way or another, perhaps there was a plan all along?
Chapter 5: Toying With Her
I give Keeley props because I would have lost my damn mind. Aaron won’t leave her alone so she starts evasive maneuvers (all the claps to her!) which work until she has class with him and he basically asks her to the dance. This is met with a swift shut down but oddly enough Keeley’s name has been put on the list of volunteers for the dance. Naturally the teacher won’t let her out of it and she resigns herself to go. Also creepily enough, Keeley bumps into her murdered which happens to be Lacy’s friend who was obsessed with her but Lacy only had eyes for Aaron.
While Keeley tries to escape the creepo, Aaron catches her and wants to know why she is crying. Keeley completely loses it and yells at Aaron to leave her alone.

They have a little convo over the chocolate but Keeley leaves ASAP. It seems there is more to the story than we know.
Chapter 7: Nobody’s Better Than Me
Aaron tried to woo Keeley to be his date; Keeley is not having it. Did I say how much I adore this girl?! She flipping rocks! However, Aaron will not deterred so begins the present giving which confuses Keeley more.

Spoiler Recap of Episode 1 to 27:
The Empress Navier and her husband, Emperor Sovieshu grew up best friends and have an arranged marriage as is customary in their culture. The story starts off the Empress has returned from a trip and learns of the Emperor's mistress, Rashta. At first Empress isn't worried, but it sounds as though she is a bit hurt by the Emperor taking a love interest. The Empress' lady-in-waiting, Laura, is very upset about this on the behave of her Empress (Laura is awesome and is very loyal to her Empress). The Empress asks the Emperor about his new mistress and he wuickly tries to shut down the coversation, but the Empress will not be denied. He doesn't give much inforamtion, but he does provide some. The Empress is in the garden next day when Rashta calls out to her and runs after and then grabs her arm and tears Empress's sleeve, the Empress was completely shocked by that insubordination, but Laura was not and went off on Rashta. Unfortunately, the Emperor heard Laura talking to Rashta so harshly, he had Laura locked up for three days; the Empress was not pleased but could not overthrow her husband's demand so she took care of Laura and made her a feast when she was released (Epidode 4).
At this point, the Emperor only trusts what Rashta says and does and anything the Empress does or he perceives as wrong is because she hates Rashta for no reason. The preparation for their New Year's celebration has began and guests start to arrive. At the same time, the Empress begins to get visits from a sweet beautiful bird with notes from his owner, the Empress is very taken with the bird and begins a correspondence withe unknown master. Unknowingly to the Empress, her pen pal is acutally Prince Heinrey of the Western Empire and next in line to thrown, but also more amazing he can turn into a bird which happens to be the same bird the Empress is so taken with.
As this takes place Rashta tries to insert herself more into the Emperor's life and pretty much be anywhere the Empress is and try in her own way to outdo the Empress (doesn't work in my opinion). Countess Verdi one of the Empress' ladies-in-waiting suddenly quits the position and becomes Rashta's lady-in-waiting (since no one in the kingdom wanted to do it, a fact the Emperor blamed the Empress for since he put her in charge of finding Rashta a suitable worker). The truth of the letters are revealed, but it is unknown who the womanizing Prince Heinrey is corresponding with. Verdi tells Rashta about the Empress' letters and Rashta has a "funny idea" to claim Verdi is the pen pal. Prince Heiney already knew what was up so he blasted Verdi out of the water with her nonsense which turns to Rashta saying that she is his pen pal. Then the Emperor gets all pissy when Prince Heinrey shuts her down too, the Empress had to step in to prevent a fight. Of course while this is happening we are learning that Prince Heinrey is practically in love with the Empress, but the Empress being a true leader discourages a physical friendship with him and asks that they keep their friendship purely in the pen pal stage; Heinrey was a bit hurt but understood.
Another guest to arrive is the Grand Duke Kaufman, he is not pleased with the way the Emperor shows off his mistress. He tells the Empress of his displeasure with the Emperor's actions and also states that in his kingdom if the mistress were ever to do anything like what Rashta has done, she would have been executed. I'm not saying I agree, but I understand ;)
Now the Emperor is noticing all the attention the Empress is getting from their male guests.
Episode 11: The Emperor tries to discourage the Empress from taking Prince Heinrey as a lover because "he really isn't a good choice and he doesn't want her to do anything to disgrace herself." What the Emperor can do is shut the fluff up and sit down or better yet go away and take Rashta with him.
Rashta starts spreading lies about the Empress giving her a gift, but it was actually the Emperor that sent the gifts under the Empress' name. The Empress was not pleased, but the Emperor told her to stop overreacting. The Empress was very politely and sophisticated when she handed him his ass.
Rashta starts crying again when the Emperor informs her she can't attend the special dinner because there are only 20 guests allowed and he used up all his invites. SO he tells the Empress to practically uninvite one of her guests so that Rashta can attend; THAT was a big fat FUCK OUTTA HERE from the Empress.
Meanwhile the truth of Rashta's past is revealed quite publicly, she is a runaway slave, and her master recognized her during a party. The Emperor is enraged by this and blames the Empress for not uninviting the man, Viscount Lotteshu, even though Empress was completely unaware of this situation. Empress practically ignores his lunatic rambling. The Emperor also makes the Viscount recant his statement about Rashta being a runaway slave; which the Viscount does because he comes up with a new plan - blackmail Rashta. Turns out Rashta is the Viscount's runaway slave as well as the mother of his grandson, Rashta thought he killed her child and runaway, but apparently, he did not kill the child; however, to keep her secrets and to help Rashta keep her position with the Emperor, they form a sort of partnership.
Now it's the Empress' birthday and the Prince wanted to take her to dinner and right when she is about to agree the Emperor shows up with his owns plans for the Empress' birthday. He plans to take her to their villa for a few days to celebrate her birthday. While this is happening the Prince invites his friend, Duke Ergi. However, the Prince quickly warns the Empress about Duke Ergi and his curse that all the women he takes an interest end up in a very bad situation. Also once the Duke Ergi arrives he becomes fast friends with Rashta even though he doesn't believe her pitiful games (personally I think the Prince set this up because he knew Duke Ergi would befriend Rashta and maybe his curse would fall upon her, Prince Heinrey does NOT like Rashta at all).
Duke Ergi waits for the Empress in the hallway to her chambers to discuss Prince Heinrey. He tells her how Prince Heinrey is two-faced man who is just as shallow as he is. He asked if Prince Heinrey said enything bad about him, the Empress denied this claim even though we know that isn't true. But the Empress is uncertain about the Duke. As they talk the Emperor sees them and interrupts which allows the Duke to take his leave. Then the Emperor has the audacity to say "so you life foreign men" which he understands since she has only been with him. He said not all men are good like him (the Empress was NOT impressed) and now she is interested in foreigners from the Western Empre, Luipt and Bluvchan. Then he just walked away like the spoiled tool he is.
The Empress ends up leaving for the villa before the Emperor because he had to finish something. Rashta totally thought she could come with Emperor to the villa, she was NOT invited and he left her behind. The Emperor tries to be very sweet to the Empress, but she is NOT impressed and turns him down. He then falls ill and a few days trip turns into a whole week. The Empress calls for a physician and ask the Emperor if he would like her to send for Rashta, the Emperor says no that he needs to be calma and Rashta does NOT calm him (hmmmm). Meanwhile Rashta, is back at the palace when the Viscount demands an a meeting with her and in that meeting states he needs money to take care of her child (which she has never once asked to see btw) she gives him some of the rings the Emperor gifted her. Viscount's parting words are a warning that with the Emperor and Empress alone Rashta may no longer be needed if they reconnect as husband and wife, Rashta starts to worry. Rashta and Duke Ergi come up with a plan to make sure Rashta's runaway slave status is no longer the talk of the town by making someone else's scandal come to light.
The Empress and Emperor return home and Rashta runs into his arms straight away (gag). The Empress takes off into the palace because she has a lot of work to catch up on as well as handling the Emperor's workload as he recovers. The Empress is majorly badass and a true royal because she handles business even when her counterpart is acting like a tool. Meanwhile, the Emperor is in his room with Rashta and asks him about the relationship between the Duke Ergi and the Empress since he knows the Duke is her friend. Rashta states that they do not have a relationship of any kind. At this time, the Emperor asks about a ring he gave apparently it has magically healing powers which he gave to her to help her heal, this is the same ring Rashta gave the Viscount. She makes up an excuse about giving it to a worker. She tries to get the ring back from the Viscount but he had already sold it.
Later on that day, Rashta stalks to the Empress to tell her that she should leave Duke Ergi alone since she has enough friends and Rashta doesn't have any. The Empress was totally confused by this of course because she doesn't speak stupid. However, the Empress states that she not friends with the Duke, but then lays the verbal smack down on her: "You wanted something that belonged to me, but I don't want anything of yours. I'm not desperate enough to steal from others." Then walks away.
The Grand Duke Kaufman of Luipt puts the Empress in charge of discussion to strike a trade deal with their countries. Naturally, the Empress is confused by his appointment so she asks him why since he didn't like how she was running her kingdom with the mistress situation basically he only trusts her because she is intelligent and can handle making important decisions.
Later on, the Empress and Emperor are having dinner (?) and the Emperor asks to borrow her Flower of the Desert healing ring for a friend and he will return it to Empress. The Empress again isn't stupid and she states she will allow him to lend the ring to Rashta under one condition: "I want you to lend me one of your magical items in return. I might want to lend it to someone else later." The Emperor loses his shit when the Empress explicitly tells him it would be lent to her lover. The Emperor was not going to let a noble from his kingdom wear any of his belongings and storms out. The Empress throughout entire story has continued her pen pal relationship with the Prince. While walking the Empress comes across the Prince holding a blue bird similar to Queen (the bird the Empress and the Prince have been using to send the notes). Sine the Prince is Queen the bird, he gets jealous when the Empress asks to hug the blue bird which is actually hilarious since she doesn't know the Prince's secret. They discuss Duke Ergi and conversation she had with him. Then the Empress asks the Prince about his plan that he has had for a few years that Duke Ergi talked about; this is where Episode 27 ends....more
