This is such a fun series and an easy way to absorb history.A Season of Knives by P.F. Chisholm is the second time we meet swashbuckling Sir Robert Carey on the Scottish border in Elizabethan England. Love it!
My review
I don't normally read short stories, I find them unsatisfying. But the blurb for The Midnight Promise debut novel by A.A Zane Lovitt caught my eye, "a literary detective story told in ten cases".And yes, ten cases told as ten short stories, but adding up to the disintegration of one man's life. Highly recommended, whether you like short stories or not.
