I was never one to really read Harlequin, but I have to say if the books are anything like the one Cathy Williams wrote (Taken by her Greek Boss) I am going to read a whole lot more of them. I have to give that book 4 stars

Unfortunately Dee, we found out in Jan my MIL is terminally ill so we've been taking care of her and making sure she is comfortable and getting out while she can to be with extended family and friends, therefore I've had little time for reading and GR's...I've been spending a lot of time at her house after work and weekends where there is no wifi.

I am reading an ARC an anthology of 8 short stories. The book will be published on May 5 and all proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior charity. Buy this book. It is for an worthy cause and the stories are fantastic, especially the Troubleshooter story.

I just finished by B.J. Daniels. It was a really great paranormal romance/romantic-suspense lite that kept me on the edge right up until the ending. I highly recommend it.

Yes Dee. This book was the first of The Bad Boys of Red Hook series. I did not like the first book I read of hers, but I am going to read the rest of THIS series.
There is a strong plot outside of the romance involving adoption which is engaging as well as a redeeming theme throughout.

Loved Half Moon Bay by Donna Kauffman (Bk 2 in The Bachelors of Blueberry Cove trilogy)...so
hunted the rest down.
Sandpiper Island #3 was ok and #1 Pelican Point (borrowed free from Overdrive) is quite good & almost read.

I'm hoping to find the #4 in that series on a digital borrow, too. It's just too expensive for me, as you say, since some in the series are just OK.

I enjoy the Pine Mountain series by Kimberly Kincaid, and I just finished her novella, numbered 4.5 in the series.

I just finished . For anyone who likes Christine Feehan's PNR story line was good, I just wasn't overly thrilled about the amount of sex in the book. I am surprised that the genre wasn't classified as erotica. It seemed like every other page the H/h were engaging in sex. I am not one that really likes a bunch of that so I just skipped that portion or scanned it. CF usually has long description of the sex, but this seemed extreme even for her. If I would have thought about it I would have counted them. IMO it kind of is a waste of time and energy to have so much sex (I would still rather do than read about it) to have a reader skip so many pages.

I am more than halfway through with . What a good book I have both the audio and the book format. I believe I am going to reread again. There is so much that my old brain is not picking up. It also has it funny moments

As all of my Goodreads friends know, I am a sucker for SEALS. I love the allure, the macho, all of it. I received a SEAL romance as an ARC and just love it. Very sexy, almost to the erotic level, but with a good suspense plot. by Sharon Hamilton

Has the book actually hit the shelves yet, Anita? Both my roommate (best friend) and I are also real suckers for SEALS so if it is the first in a series or a stand alone I am looking for it.
