Nancy | 69 comments Magic Shifts. This is the 8th instalment of the Kate Daniels dries by Ilona Andrews. Guys, if you have not discovered the writing of this husband and wife team, you should give them a go. This series has everything; a slow burn romance with lots of snark and sexual tension, a kickass, likeable heroine paired with the ultimate alpha hero, rich complex secondary characters and heart pounding suspense, exhilarating fighting and action scenes.

I just picked this up at the library and I got a few chapters in. I am glad you have read this, as you are one of my go to reviewers.

Nancy | 69 comments Dee, if you can borrow all the earlier books, it would be even better. My favourite books in the series are the third and fourth instalments.

Thank you Dee. That is such a sweet thing to say. I try to give my feelings for a book, but not give away the plot.

Question: Will it be released in print?
Linda Howard/Linda Jones Answer: Not initially. I won't say never, though. --
There are a couple different ways to make a print version available. If we do it print on demand, the cost is just too high. I've done a few books this way, and while the finished product is nice, it's also around $15. We would prefer to find a way to make the print book available at a more reasonable cost. If we can't, then eventually that will be the option. Anyway, bear with us. We will make sure it's out there in print in some format, just not as soon as the e-book version. -- LJ

Anita (anitanodiva) | 1619 comments I'm reading Hero by Samantha Young . At over 400 pages, it's long for a straight romance.

Dee Sauter (indeathaddict) | 7583 comments I just finished Edge of Darkness Edge of Darkness (includes Dark Saga, #27; Wings in the Night Reborn, #1.5) by Christine Feehan . It is an anthology, the book Christine Feehan has written is called Dark Crime and for a novella it is really good. For anyone who has kept up with her dark series it tells what happens after Xavier was killed and two shadow splinters went into the Malinov brothers. I good segue into future books

I LOVED IT!! I think Friction by Sandra Brown is one of the best books Sandra Brown has ever written. I still need to write my review for it. I read it all day yesterday and put off doing anything else.

CD {Boulder Blvd} (boulderblvd) | 1047 comments I just finished Wildfire In His Arms by Johanna Lindsey and I'm so disappointed. I can't believe I skimmed a good portion of this book. I was bored and it seemed like there was a lot of filler. I used to love reading Johanna Lindsey. I feel I need to read one of her older books so I can love her again.

I understand how exciting it is to get a book you really want to read. I just got X X (Kinsey Millhone, #24) by Sue Grafton by Sue Grafton and want to read it, but I've got 4 more ARC's to do this month.

So much for the ARC's. I read X this weekend. Great mystery.

I have been with NetGalley since February and I have read some really great books and some really bad ones. A lot of new authors and established ones too. I don't get every book I request. Recently they didn't give me Friction by Sandra Brown or X (Kinsey Millhone, #24) by Sue Grafton . Go to the web site and register. The more web presence you have, different chat groups, a blog, Facebook the more likely the bigger publishers will use you. Good luck!

CD {Boulder Blvd} (boulderblvd) | 1047 comments Just finished Broken Promise (Promise Falls, #1) by Linwood Barclay and although the plot was good was disappointed by all the open threads that continue into another novel that won't be available until March 2016. I really don't like when ARCs continue into books that have a big time gap in publishing.

Long Way Home Long Way Home (A Mangrove Island Novel Book 1) by Neve Cottrell
