What are you currently reading?
Elizabeth - Yay! I just recently finished Stealing the Preacher (LOVED it!)! Hope you enjoy it and I think you will! :)
Elizabeth, last week for me, everything was put on hold because of Stealing the Preacher. :)I'm currently reading That Certain Summer by Irene Hannon, Tutor's Daughter by Julie Klassen, and a NetGalley book.
Over the weekend, I finished
& 7 Blind Dates (no photo for this one...) Both are good books, though I enjoyed "7 Blind Dates" more. ;)Started
this afternoon. Probably finish it tonight...
Kara - That book is on my tbr shelf. I loved the fourth book in the series and look forward to reading books 1-3. So glad you're loving it. :)
@Kara - That's a great series! Hope you enjoy it! :)@Melanie - Oh my goodness! You read book 4 first?! You're not supposed to do that!
I cried when I read book 4... :'(
@ Melanie-I've had the discarded heroes series on my shelves for a year waiting to get all of them before reading them, but decided that I FINALLY need to read them :) You started with Firethorn??!! Was it awesome? @ Aerykah-I knew I would love these books, thanks for your comments :) I will have my tissues ready when I get to Firethorn, but I cried in Nightshade so I'm sure I'll need tissues for ALL of them!! Yay, so happy you've started Talon!! I have it also, but need to get through Discarded Heroes first :)
Will be starting
next, LOOOOVE Ronie's books!!!!
@Kara Firethorn was awesome! I LOVED it. :) I too have the first three books on my shelf waiting to be read... I really do need to get to those soon. ;)
@Aerykah LOL! I wish I hadn't read book four first, but I had gotten it for review and didn't have the first three yet... so, yeah, I'm reading them out of order. :/ I think I cried while reading that book too...
Ya'll are making me want to read this series right now. :) Hopefully I'll be able to get to them this summer. :D

Yeah... each of the books have sad parts, but Firethorn had a REALLY SAD part. I don't usually cry in books, but I had tears literally rolling down my face.Trinity was GREAT! And I'm really enjoying Talon so far. :)
Which of her books have you read?
Just Firethorn and Trinity so far. :) Trinity was really good, but I liked Firethorn a little bit more.
Have you read any of Ronie's other books?
Have you read any of Ronie's other books?
I think Ronie is a favorite author for me too. :) Dead Reckoning is another one of her books I want to read - plus all her other books. :)
So many books, so little time. *sighs*

Melanie, you seem to be on a roll lately when it comes to reading! Which is more than I can say for myself. No time to read lately. Plus, I've not found anything REALLY interesting. Waiting for the books I'm excited about to arrive!
@Ganise I've felt the same way the past few weeks. Haven't been reading as much as I usually do and a few of the books I've read took a while to really grab my attention. Super excited about my next two reads, though. :)
What books are you waiting to receive??
What books are you waiting to receive??
Melanie :
Not reading as much as you usually do?? And here I was thinking you're practically a champion at this. You read what, 6 books per week? What are your next two reads?
The books I'm excited to read :
Undeniably Yours by Becky Wade
Catch A Falling Star by Beth Vogt
Stealing the Preacher by Karen Witemeyer
Shattered - Dani Pettrey
Duchess - Susan May Warren
A Charmed Life - Jenny B. Jones
And more I think!

I usually can read around 4 books per week. Last week I (just) finished 3 and I was already halfway done with two of them...
My next two reads are: Once Upon a Prince by Rachel Hauck & There You'll Find Me by Jenny B. Jones - just need to finish Girl in the Gatehouse before I start Once Upon a Prince. :)
Oooohhh!!! Stealing the Preacher, Shattered, and Duchess are FANTASTIC reads! I've heard great things about Undeniably Yours and Catch a Falling Star... A Charmed Life looks like a good book, too. :) Great list of books, Ganise. :D

I've been hearing so much about Once Upon a Prince that I'll definitely be reading it too. I read There You'll Find Me last year, I think. You might want to grab tissues!! I gave it five stars though because I thought it was well-written.
I've heard they are fantastic, too! Right alongside Wade's and Vogt's latest. So exciting!
Thank you! I think it's a great list too!! :)

Glad you gave it five stars! Tissues? Hopefully that's for happy tears and not because the story is sad. :)
It tackles heavy issues! If I remember correctly, I was pretty surprised while reading it, because even though there is often a rough side to Jones' stories - the sprinkling of humor usually covers that a bit ( Save the Date for example... you read that one?). But in T.Y.F.M, I found the problems quite raw. There is humor though... good humor. Anyways, I'll let you form an opinion of your own. Curious to read your thoughts.
Oh... now I'm even more interested in reading it. :) I haven't read Save The Date yet - There You'll Find Me will be my first Jenny B. Jones' book. :D
Melanie, I read There You'll find me last year, and also loved it!I'm currently reading these.
I just finished

Iscariot by Tosca Lee.
How do you add the picture of the book, please?

Ganise, there's an "add book/author" feature right above the comment box. Click on this to add the book cover, just learned this recently :)
Love Finds You in Carmel by the Sea, California by Sandra D. Bricker and Glamorous Illusions by Lisa T. Bergren. Enjoying both of them. :)
I just finished "When A Secret Kills" by Lynette Eason, it was AMAZING! But it was kind of sad to say goodbye to the characters! :)
Ganise wrote: "
And there you have it. :)"
I've seen that book around and it looks interesting. Hope you enjoy it, Ganise! :)

Carole - I really, really enjoyed that book. :) Glad you loved it! :)
Aerykah - looks like you've read and are reading some great books! Looking forward to hearing what you think about A Most Unsuitable Match and The Edge of Recall. :)

I finished Once Upon A Prince by Rachel Hauck yesterday and started There You'll Find Me by Jenny B. Jones today (so far it's very good!).
Melanie wrote: "Aerykah - looks like you've read and are reading some great books! Looking forward to hearing what you think about A Most Unsuitable Match and The Edge of Recall. :)"This is my 3rd time through The Edge of Recall. I like to get audio books that I've listened to before & listen to them at night when I'm going to bed. It's a nice switch from the radio & I know I won't be too worried about missing out on something important in the story because I've read/heard it before. ;)
Anyway, it's a really good book! I gave it 5 stars. :)
As for the others... They were all pretty good. Talon: Combat Tracking Team is definitely the best, though. I can't wait to read book 3 in that series! I think I was more interested in Timbrel & Candyman's story than I was anything else. ;)
@Aerykah I've done that before too (listen to books I've already read when I'm going to bed). Yeah, Talon looks really good. :)
