I just finished
and it is a fantastic Christian book! Now I am working on
and
. In the near future I plan to read
.
Finished
. Switched gears to finish Janice's series
&
. Cute series! Back to ML though, finishing her trilogy with
Very cool!! Read
for the Bingo game and
to try to read some of the books on my "to read" list. I started with the shortest book and thought to move up after that. However, I don't really like Amish, so, I changed my mind about this plan.I'm finishing up ML's Legacy of the King's Pirates:
and
.I'm trying to finish up some of the series that I started. I still have several to read but it is fun "wrapping" things up!
Currently reading:
and
Like Bess, I'm working through my to-be-read piles. But I am also enjoying a reread of the O'Malley Chronicles, one of my favorite series of all time.
I'm going back to the idea of tackling my tbr shelf shortest to longest to shorten the shelf! Read
and reading
. Both are short and take a matter of minutes.
Finished those couple of short novellas on my tbr list. I have two books from the library to start:
and
. Just not sure which to start first...
So, I picked
, and then hit my TBR list again with
&
. Then, the buddy read commenced with
. After that, I went back to the Emma Rae books with
&
. This series is super cute but I have to say, I love Janice Thompson's versions so much better. The books are not related but similar. Ms. Bricker's are in GA and Ms. Thompson's are in TX. Back to buddy reading with
. I have this one in an audio version. After this, I have the Bingo read,
. I read more books in May than I have in any other month so far. : )What are YOU reading?
I'm reading these books atm:
, enjoying this and hope to finish this week.
, just started this for a couple challenges...need to finish tonight or tomorrow.
, current nonfiction read.
, not that far, but it's good.

Nice!! I took a hiatus for a little while. :|Really need to pick up a book! Oh, wait! I started one last night:
I am supposedly reading this:
But I have to admit it is quite boring, to be the main christian book (apart from the Bible) that I'm reading. So, would you recommend me some good christian fiction out there (no Narnia please)? It hasn't to be strictly christian.
Melanie wrote: "Wow, Elizabeth! You read a lot the past two weeks. :) Did you like Mary Connealy's books?"I was surprised I read that much since I'm typically a super slow reader. I really did enjoy that one! I'm very much looking for to the rest of the series!
I just started
. So far it is good! I'm hoping that this book will put me back into a reading mood (recently I've just been pushing myself to read, even when I didn't really feel like it).

I enjoyed it a lot! The first time I started it I had stopped a few chapters in but I think it was just me being overwhelmed with all the books I had to read. I restarted it this time and had a hard time putting it down. You'll have to let me know what you think of it!

Oh my goodness! I'm just now seeing your comment! D:
I really like all the books in the "Refiner's Fire" series! This one isn't my favorite, but it's still very good. I definitely recommend this series! :)
Cynthia RuchtiA Fragile HopeReceived an ARC of A Fragile Hope and loved it. Ruchti writes beautiful, lilting prose that urges the reader on from page to page. Her soon-to-be-released book had me from hello. A work-obsessed husband begins to doubt his wife's fidelity and his own adequacy as a spouse. Throw in a major car accident and colorful characters. The plot held me through the last page and taught me a few things about caring for those we love most. Five stars from me.
