On page 28. Hard to get going in this story but I'm sure it will be as good as Maire
, once I get into it. Maire was slow at first as well.
Finished

Reading
and
and re-reading
Oh, and I just got an email saying that several books I had on hold at the library just came in! So, depending on what they are... I may just start one or two of them this week too! :D
Yeah... I haven't read this many books at one time in a while, but I'm loving it! ;)
How on earth do you read more than one book at a time. I'm a multitask-er, always have been, but that is simply beyond my scope of thinking. I need to concentrate on the story. Would love to know how you go about doing that, if you don't mind telling me. I know you're not the only one who does.
I don't know, but I've been told that I just have a mind for it. I've never had much trouble focusing on a few different stories at one time. Usually, I choose books from different genres -- that helps keep the stories separate -- and avoid books that have same or similar character names. The three I'm currently reading are all Suspense. I don't normally do that, but these books are different enough that I don't have to worry about confusing them.
I don't know how I'm able to, but I can be reading one book in my bedroom, then go to the living room & pick up a different one and have little, or no, trouble shifting my mind to a different story. Unless I'm at a climatic part..... In that case, no other book is going to hold my interest. ;)
Thank you for answering my question, Aerykah. I've never tried it but I think I'll stick to one at a time. hee hee Happy reading. :D
My name is Gillian Henriques, founder of Sisters in Christ Worldwide and author of several books. I am writing to offer you a copy of my e-book Bound by Unforgiveness. It is my desire for it to be in the hands of every Christian. Unforgiveness is a sin that bounds and I believe that this book can help to set free those that are hurt and broken. I ask that you read it, write a review, and recommend it to your friends and followers. The book is available on Amazon, but I will send you a copy upon your response. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I'm reading THUNDER by Bonnie S. Calhoun right now. I'm also listening to CRESS (mainstream YA) and reading a nonfiction book.
I can't wait to read Thunder! It's on my TBR list. Just finished In the Field of Grace by Tessa Afshar. Absolutely LOVED it!

I have two other books by Tessa. She is wonderful. Love her Biblical fiction!!
I'm currently reading two fiction books:
(reread)
I'm also partway through several other books, but these are my two main reads right now. :)

I thought Jodie Bailey was a new author, but it turns out that she has published a few suspense novels which I hadn't seen because I'm not big on suspense. Quilted by Love is a character-driven narrative with a small-town Appalachian setting, engaging characters, emotional romance and plot. I loved everything about this book! I finally finished
. It got better as the story went on.Now I'm reading Cross and Crown by McCabe James Dabney, which is a reproduction of an old book published around 1874 about the sufferings and triumphs of the men and women who were persecuted for their faith. This is going to take a long time to read because it's a little under 700 pages in small print. In addition to the fact that, although I've finished writing and editing my third novel, There Abideth Hope, I still have to read through the proof when it arrives in a few days.
I'm hoping to get my new novel to Amazon before Christmas, so that doesn't leave much time for reading other books.

I managed to read 11 books this month! I completed two series for my "Complete the series" challenge, 1 book for my "50 States" Reading challenge, and 2 books for me "re-read" challenge. I also hit my goal of 20 posts for the month of January on my blog! :Dhttp://faithlovebooks.blogspot.com/20...
I'm currently reading

You should totally consider reading the first book Fools Rush In, if you get a chance! I think you'd love it! BTW if you don't have the first book, I have it on Kindle if you ever want to borrow it! :)
