Finished
Still deciding where to go from here...I think I'll start
after Chanukkah is complete! Too little time during the feasts of Dedication! :) **Celebrating Jesus is the light of the World!**
How do you get the book covers in your posts? I'm reading Susan Meissner's Stars Over Sunset Boulevard right now. Finished In the Shadow of Thy Wings by Anita Heath Richardson.

Sharon, there is a link (add book/author) above the comment box. Click on that, do a search for the book. Find the book, before clicking "Add," go to the bottom of the small screen and click either "link" or "cover." There is also a tab at the top that says "Author." And you can click that and add the author. :) Hope that helps!!
Okay, finished
, slow at points. But overall, it was cute and a light read.Since
went on sale, I immediately started it!! Stoked!
Finished
and immediately jumped to
The Pepper in the Gumbo. It is slow going, so I put it aside for now and started and finished
The Falcon and the Sparrow...wow!

I'm not there yet. I haven't completed the books on my "to-read" shelf yet. But I'm a new reader. I only started reading as a true hobby about 7 years ago. So, a late "bloomer" so to say. :D The first novel I read was
, when I was 25! Here we are, 10 years later and I'm loving to read more and more each year.
Currently reading
and
. Both books gripped me right away. Going to be tough to say goodbye to these characters, for sure.
I usually read several books at a time. Every now and then a book will totally grab my attention but I like to bounce back and forth =)
All you people who are capable of doing that really impresses me. I'm a one book at a time gal. Then, if I don't enjoy the read or quit the book, it takes me a while to pick another book up after that. Some of the slower books make me drag my feet through it. Generally, I want to know what happens but I can put a book down and never finish. See, I'm reading
and while the premise is very intriguing, it is a bit slow. Plus, I'm not a speedy reader to boot. :D

I don't normally do that, but occasionally I do if I'm bored with a particular book but still want to know what happens before beginning a new one.

The ONLY time I skim is if the book I'm reading is boring me, but I still want to find out what happens. Other than that, I'm usually so engaged in the book that I eagerly devour every word.
@Bess- I'm sure I'll be posting about it. ;)@Melanie- Thanks! I hope you're able to get to it soon & enjoy it! :)
I'm reading Dark Zeal by DI Telbat and Elusive Hope by MaryLu Tyndall. Plan on starting Thin Ice by Irene Hannon today.
I feel so behind with our buddy read, Bess, but I will get it done by tomorrow night! The little I've read is already so good!! :D

Oh, Elizabeth, let me know about
