Did you like "The Robe of Skulls" MB? I liked it well enough but not an inordinate amount. I loved the talking bats!

Yes, I did! I would have loved this book as a kid. The bats were my favorite characters! This book reminded me of reading Roald Dahl...almost the same dark sense of humor. Or somewhat like Gaiman's "Neverwhere" suitable for children. If there's to be another one, I'm up for it! :-)
