Our second group anthology-Submissions to Ignite by end of September, please.
It's late, it's time to go to sleep. Here's my first line:Gerry lay in bed trying not to fall asleep. Whatever happened it was imperative she stayed awake or The Plan would fail.
Throwing the reader into the centre of the action is not my forte.
Cheers

What order did we decide for the contributions? I ask this in the context of making the Kindle sample text the best it can be (it will display several of the contributions I believe, about 7700 words?). What other front matter will be included?
Not sure what you mean Darren? The other Darren has it now and is sorting that out. Were you thinking of putting a sample on a blog or something? In that case it's best to wait till it's out.
Ah right. Sample should be ok. First few stories aren't over-long and there's just enough blurb. Don't you think? You've seen it.
If anyone likes zombies, may I recommend the following blog, authored by my fabulous husband: http://watchingthedead.blogspot.co.uk/ Enjoy!

Didn't you know - Black is the new ... erm...

Cannot see me ever bothering with the film so probably won't. The white on black doesn't help.
Anyway I'm working on my new blog. Click on the link, enter your credit card details and a few details and a couple of hours later an appropriate person will arrive round to read it to you in person.

Btw, my first lines...The boy's skin was sour and taut and his movements graceful.
He was arrogant, of that there could be no doubt.
