This book was anythng but boring. It challenged me intellectually as I sought to understand Buber's reasoning and thoughts. I had to work at grasping the reasoning, which was not boring at all! And, I was interested enough to want to finish it even though it was a hard book for me to grasp and thus stick with. And, I found I developed a relationship with this book that I missed when it was completed.
